Training Props

The East Hills Training Association utilizes multiple training props constructed by facility staff to enhance the quality of the student’s learning experience. The EHTA uses a portable Window/Denver Drill Prop which is invaluable for firefighter survival training. This prop allows students to practice negotiating windows from ladders, rescuing victims from windows, and bailing out of a window, both onto ladders and using bailout rope. This prop’s window only sits 5 feet from the ground, ensuring the student’s safety while on the prop.
The EHTA also utilizes a portable wall breach prop, a portable drop ceiling collapse prop, and a fixed forcible entry door along with many other supplies. With the combination of these props and the facility itself, the EHTA provides the best resources available to area firefighters, from Probie’s to Chiefs without the long trips to distant fire schools!
